His activities and his eagerness of working are Inexhaustible. One thing that he is an expert in, is researching Iranian Folkloric music which has deeply affected his Composition.

Kaveh Mirhosseini is the composer and also the conductor of the Cantus Ensemble in Tehran which performs some concerts annually and mostly in regards to the Iranian composers. For me, it was an immense pleasure that the Cantus Ensemble accepted to play my piece for string orchestra by the name of “For Those….”. Cantus Ensemble performed my music in a very friendly atmosphere and with so much care and respect to my score. The performance was received with joy and admiration by the audience and that was because of the conductor’s broad knowledge in many aspects of music and especially in the forms and styles of the contemporary Iranian composers.
